Slept Yet? is a sleep logging and sleep routine recovery app. Detailed sleep records stay on your device by default. No account is required, and there is no ad tracking.
Your detailed sleep records stay on your device and are never sold. Data leaves your device only for: (1) iCloud sync of your own records to your own iCloud account, (2) optional social features described below, and (3) limited first-party operational diagnostics described below. Contacts, photos, raw sleep logs, and diagnostic request bodies are never uploaded.
The app stores the following information locally on your device to provide its features:
This app data stays on your device and can sync through your private iCloud account across devices signed in to the same Apple ID. If you enable optional social features, iCloud may also store a random recovery credential so you can recover your social profile after reinstalling the app. The credential does not contain your nickname, sleep records, health data, Apple ID, or email address. Premium purchase status is provided by Apple.
If you enable Apple Health Sleep sync, the app reads sleep analysis samples from Apple Health to automatically log when you fell asleep and woke up. When you complete a sleep record in the app, it writes the sleep session back to Apple Health so your data appears in the Health app and is available to other health apps you use. Raw Health samples are processed locally and are never uploaded. If you opt in to social features, only the derived sleep summaries described under "Social Features" leave your device; they are associated with your random app identifier and the social profile you create. You can revoke Health access at any time in the app settings or in iOS Settings.
If you use the snore or sleep-talk detection features, the app accesses your device microphone during the session. Audio is classified locally to detect possible snoring and speech-like clips. The classifier cannot identify who made a sound or confirm that speech occurred during sleep. Retained clips are stored locally and are never uploaded to any server. You can delete them at any time. Microphone access can be revoked in iOS Settings.
If you enable sunrise/sunset display, the app requests your approximate location (using reduced accuracy) to calculate local sunrise and sunset times. Your coordinates and city name are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server. Location access can be revoked in iOS Settings.
The current version has no mandatory sign-in or email-and-password account. The optional social profile described below uses a random app identifier. The app has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or third-party attribution SDK.
If you choose to enable social features by creating a sleep profile, the app sends the following to our server for leaderboards and friend comparisons:
This information is used only to provide leaderboards, friends, challenges, partner comparisons, invitations, reports, blocking, and safety protections. Social features do not request your Apple ID, email address, contacts, or advertising profile. If you do not enable social features, the app does not send this social data.
To check public names for inappropriate content, only the display name text may be sent to OpenAI and Google Cloud for automated moderation. It does not include your app identifier, avatar, sleep data, health data, or other profile fields.
You can delete your social profile and local data from Data & Privacy at any time. Deleting the social profile invalidates its recovery credential and stops future social data from being sent.
When a feature fails, the app may send limited technical diagnostics. They do not include your identity, nickname, sleep or health data, messages, or other content; they are not used for tracking or advertising and are deleted after no more than 30 days.
Premium purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment methods are managed by Apple. We receive only the purchase status needed to unlock Premium and do not receive your payment card number or Apple ID password.
If you enable reminders, the app uses iOS local notifications for bedtime and sleep logging reminders. Notification schedules are stored locally on your device. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.
You can export your local sleep data in the app. You choose where to save or share the exported file.
You can also clear all local data in the app. This deletes local logs, settings, task progress, and badge state from the device. App Store subscriptions are still managed by Apple, and clearing local data does not cancel a subscription.
Slept Yet? is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The current version uses Apple's iCloud, Health, purchase, and notification services. If you enable social features, the app uses our service for friends and leaderboards; only display name text may be checked by OpenAI and Google Cloud for safety. Sleep and health data are not sent to those moderation providers. No advertising, third-party analytics, or attribution service is used.
Slept Yet? provides sleep logging, habit reminders, and general wellness reference. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or professional healthcare services.
